“We greatly desire that at this time the Holy Spirit may show every professing Christian the fullness and perfection of Christ’s atoning sacrifice. It was a whole and entire sacrifice that Christ made for the sins of the world. We are living and working and breathing in a low atmosphere. Now and then we get glimpses of Christ, but much selfishness is manifested. Our failure to appropriate the grace of Christ leaves us defective and faithless, unable correctly to represent Christ. By clinging to self, ministering to our selfish interests, we dishonor God, and the sacred word we minister is made to taste of the uncleansed vessel through which it is communicated. Self is so largely revealed that the sacredness of the truth is lost sight of.”

READERS ARE ADVISED TO STUDY THE SCRIPTURES
ALONG WITH THE INFO PROVIDED
God alone is God, and He alone is righteous. Man without God is totally depraved. There is no inherent “good” or “righteousness” in him. His thoughts, emotions and works are evil. Man needs God’s righteousness in him. In order for him to receive this righteousness, he must first be made aware of his depravity by the conviction of the Holy Spirit, by God temporally taking away the carnal mind or consciousness of sinful values, so that man can see His righteousness. The conditions of repenting and believing must be fulfilled in order that man may receive this righteousness, thus experience the “new birth” or the renewing of his mind. The maintenance of this “new birth” in sanctification is required day by day, and the keeping of God’s Ten Commandments, thus being found faithful to this calling all the way to the end, the man will pass safe in the judgment and dwell will God in heaven forever.

Many interpret this parable of Jesus to teach that persons have an immortal soul that go to heaven or hell
immediately at the time of their death. After all they say it is Jesus that is speaking and he cannot lie so it is exactly
as he says it is. Continue reading →

Today we live in a world where almost all of humanity are engrossed in the pursuit of gaining the comforts of this life. This challenges the economy of our time as we work, study, play, sleep, being caught up in the activities of each day. We become then, so dependent on those who are ” qualified in various fields ” , we see the Mechanic when our vehicle is not performing properly , the Doctor when we are not feeling well, and so on. Even the religious aspects of our lives we leave up to our ministers who are supposed to be qualified in the way of the truth, and we take their every word as if it were the very word of God. However, we are warned that many false prophets shall arise and deceive many, therefore we are admonished to study for our selves as we are saved only with truth and as individuals . Matt. 24 : 4 & 5, 2Tim. 2 : 15, 2Cor. 5 : 10.

The one most important fact to all mankind is that we die! No matter who we are, what part of the earth we live, how much money we have, how famous, or how loved or hated we are, no one can escape death, no one can live forever. So more important than life as we know it is to know what becomes of us all at death. Many are the vast varieties of teachings on this subject that it is easier to push it out of our minds than to study all these conceptions that seem only to confuse and darken the understanding, but ignoring this subject is not going to change the fact. Again the fact is we cannot escape death, it is to be understood and as intelligent beings created by God, and especially as God has given us a guide, the Holy Bible. The book of Isaiah in verse 28 : 9 says Whom shall He teach knowledge? and whom shall He make to understand doctrine ? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. In other words you must be willing to learn as a child in humility and not as if you know every thing already. In Isaiah 28 : 10 it continues For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little and there a little. Continue reading →

Many Bible believing persons are even to this day confused and in doubt to the state of the dead and the doctrine of a resurrection. Thus Satan is able to get persons to hold on to error believing that they have the truth. That is why the Bible admonishes us all to study to know the truth for ourselves 2Timoty 2 :15. As the Bible is our guide we must use it to prove in all clarity the doctrines that are so essential for life eternal. Continue reading →

‘No lie is of the Truth’
The teachings of Herbert W. Armstrong has been around for quite a while and has influenced the minds of millions. I have grown up watching his broadcasts on Television and was deeply influenced by the dynamic presentation and exposition of the Prophecies of the Bible. In my ignorance, the Bible seemed to come alive as I viewed his charismatic presentation, I was impressed. I never actually became a member of his World Wide Church of God though ,but, I had accepted many of his false doctrines as did many others like me.
