WHO ARE WE:
We are ZEBACH [Sacrificial], an independent Free Seventh Day Adventist Church based in Trinidad and Tobago, established by the will and mercy of God for the sake of carrying the everlasting Gospel to the world.
*Zebach [Heb. Sacrifice] means the sacrifice GOD made for humanity through the life, death, and resurrection of his son JESUS. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life . Eph 5:1-2 “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.” Gal 1:4 “Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.Ps 50:5 “Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
WE BELIEVE:
- *The Holy Bible is the infallible thoughts of GOD, written in human language, preserved throughout the ages by the will and providence of YHWH. 2Tim.3:16-17 “All scripture is given by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of god may be perfect, thourghly furnished, unto all good works. Ps 12:6-7 “The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
- There is numerically only one true and living GOD, Holy and Righteous, a God of Mercy, Truth and Judgment, Creator of the Universe. Who reveals himself in three-person offices, The Father-Will, Son-Mediator, and Holy Spirit-Creative Agent, which is called the Godhead and not a trinity. Deut.6:4 “Hear O Israel, the LORD our GOD is ONE LORD. Isa 45:18 “For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else. Ex 34:6-7 “And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
- This GOD shows his creatorship through the knowledge of the 10 Commandments and expressing his Deity in the first four commandments. Ex 20:1-11“[1] And God spake all these words, saying,[2] I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.[3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me.[4] Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:[5] Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;[6] And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.[7] Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.[8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:[11] For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
- Man was created in the image, after the likeness of God, Holy, and free from sin, but fell from perfection through his own doing [Sin], resulting in Death, thus GOD provided the way back to perfection through sacrifice [Zebach]. Gen 1:26,27 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness….So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”Eccl 7:29 “Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions. John 3:16” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 1:29 “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”Rom 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man(ADAM) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Rom 5:17 “For if by one man’s (ADAM) offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)”
- Man is therefore born without the knowledge and presence of GOD, morally deprave (Vacuous, empty), thus man must be BORN AGAIN ie. born of the Spirit. Ps 51:5 “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” Rom 3:10-19 ” As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” John 3:3-6 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God… Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God… That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” Eph 2:1 “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Titus 3:5-7 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
- GOD sends his HOLY SPIRIT to draw humanity to himself. Jn.6:44 “No man can come unto me, except the Father which hath sent me DRAW him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” Jn.16:8 “And when he (HOLY SPIRIT) is come, he will reprove the world of Sin, Righteousness, and Judgment.” John 10:9” I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” Rev.3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
- When Yhwh calls man, through the Holy Spirit, the man must repent and believe the Gospel, then Yhwh Justifies the man. This act [Justification],is a mental transformation in the renewing of the mind, in the putting to death the old man, and entering into a new life. With this spiritual mind, man is able to obey the Law of God. Yhwh worked this act in humanity throughout the ages. Titus 3:4-7 “But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,(5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (6) Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; (7) That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Eph 4:20-24 “But ye have not so learned Christ; (21) If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: (22) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; (23) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; (24) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.Col 2:10-12“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: (11)In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: (12)Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Ps 32:1-2,5,11 “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.(2) Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.(5) I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.(11) Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
- This act of mental transformation called Justification, must be maintained. The man co-operates with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in this state of holiness, works out his salvation with fear and trembling. This is a life long experience in which the man grows from strength to strength, and must continue to live in this consciousness which is called Sanctification. 1The.4:1-4“(1) Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
(2) For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
(3) For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
(4) That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour.”1The.5:22-24″Abstain from all appearance of evil.
(23) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(24) Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it .” 2The.2:13“But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:” Phil.1:6“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
- This life long experience in which the man maintains his sanctification, where his thoughts and deeds are recorded, must be brought before YHWH and the heavenly angels for an investigation, this is called the “Investigative Judgement“. This investigation goes on in the heavenly sanctuary prior to the second coming of JESUS. Mat.12:36,37 “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
[37] For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” {Mat.22:1-14, Jn.5:19-27}, Dan.8:14“And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” Dan.7:9,10 “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
[10] A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.“Eccl.12:13,14“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
[14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil., 2Cor.5:10“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”Rom.2:13,16“[13] (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.[16] In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.”
The books of record in heaven, in which the names and the deeds of men are registered, are to determine the decisions of the judgment. The book of life contains the names of all who have ever entered the service of God. Jesus bade His disciples: “Rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:20. Paul speaks of his faithful fellow workers, “whose names are in the book of life.” Philippians 4:3. Daniel, looking down to “a time of trouble, such as never was,” declares that God’s people shall be delivered, “everyone that shall be found written in the book.” And the revelator says that those only shall enter the city of God whose names “are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Daniel 12:1; Revelation 21:27, 11:15-19.
